SolarProspector ("we", "us", "our") is a commercial solar prospecting tool operated by Murphy Software Labs. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using SolarProspector you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account information — the email address you use to register and log in.
- Billing information — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
- Usage data — the zip codes and locations you scan, leads you save, and lead status changes you make, so the product can function and show your history.
- Technical data — basic, privacy-respecting analytics (page views and referrers) collected without cookies via Simple Analytics.
How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and improve the SolarProspector service.
- To process subscriptions and send transactional email (login links, receipts, account notices).
- To generate property reports using third-party data and mapping services.
- To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or technical issues.
Third-party services
We rely on trusted providers to deliver the service, including Stripe (payments), Postmark (transactional email), Google Maps and related Google APIs (property and mapping data), and Simple Analytics (cookieless analytics). Each processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Data retention
We keep your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Your choices
You can access, update, or delete your account information by logging in or contacting us. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal linked in your dashboard.
